In 2010-11, the Institute was recognized for its innovative project related to Schools and Teacher Education, focusing on new methods and experiments concerning the impact of educational innovations on environmental protection. In the NCERT’s nationwide contest on innovative educational practices and experiments.

In 2011, the team from the Institution received the National Award for INNOVATIVE PRACTICE IN EDUCATION from NCERT.

The college has reached numerous milestones in its progress, such as being Accredited with an “A” grade and a 3.11 CGPA by NAAC during 2013-14.

In 2016-17, the Institute granted an award for the innovative project focused on practical work and the use of ICT in the teaching of mathematics and science to Madhyamik Star students. During the All India Contest on Creative Methods and Trials in Education organized by NCERT.

In 2020-21, the Institute secured 3 positions at the State Level and 45 positions at the National Level in Non-Autonomous College according to Education World India Higher Education.
